Pirates Outlast Yankees in 10-Inning Thriller at Yankee Stadium

Enter Ben Rice and the Yankees’ cavalry. Rice crushed a three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh that should have been the game-tying moment everyone would remember. It was a blast destined for the highlight reel, a reminder that the Yankees’ lineup can explode when given the opportunity. For seven innings, it seemed like that would be enough.
