Brandon Marsh continued his hot streak with an absolutely perfect night at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a run scored. Alec Bohm contributed an RBI single in the sixth inning to provide some late-inning punctuation. The Phillies’ supporting cast was doing its job, manufacturing runs and playing clean baseball. Trea Turner’s sacrifice fly in the second inning showed the kind of timely, intelligent baseball that winning teams execute.

There’s really nothing to sugarcoat here for Colorado. This was a complete, utter demolition on both sides of the ball. The Rockies couldn’t hit Sánchez if their lives depended on it, and their own starter couldn’t get out of the inning without bleeding runs.
